Assistant Maths Hub Lead (Primary)
London South West Maths Hub is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly effective Primary Mastery Specialist Teacher to join our team of Assistant Maths Hub Leads. This is a superb opportunity to work alongside schools across our region, supporting high-quality early mathematics provision and helping to improve outcomes for children, particularly those who need it most.
The Assistant Maths Hub Lead (Primary) will work alongside the Maths Hub Lead and other Assistant Hub Leads to oversee LLME work.
Candidate suitability
The Assistant Maths Hub Lead will be an outstanding leader who is able to articulate the vision, values and ethos of the London South West Maths Hub and will inspire and empower others to share in achieving them.
They must come from a successful leadership position with previous experience leading a Hub activity and will take responsibility for co-leading the Primary Phase offer within the London South West Maths Hub - overseeing Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth.
The post will report to the Maths Hub Lead.
Time commitment and school expectations
LLME are seconded from their home school for 20 days (or equivalent to half a day a week) to participate in:

Maths Hub Leadership team meetings

continuous professional development

overseeing Primary LLME activity
Contract: Secondment.
Start Date:
1st September 2026.
