London South West Maths Hub

Welcome to the London South West Maths Hub, led by two Outstanding Schools Belleville Primary and Chesterton Primary and working in partnership with Wandsworth Local Authority.

The geographical area that we cover comprises the boroughs of Merton, Kingston, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth. We also have strong links with other surrounding areas, and will engage schools in other areas where appropriate. 

We are a part of a national network of Maths Hubs that work together in the national Maths Hub programme. More information on the Maths Hub programme can be found  here

Early Years Pattern

The Early Years Pattern Project is a fantastic opportunity to hear Dr Sue Gifford share about how a local group of nursery and reception teachers have developed a creative and flexible approach to teaching pattern.

Maths Hubs projects 2018-19:

The full range of Maths Hubs projects starting in September has now been announced, These are professional development projects addressing maths teaching across the age range, from Early Years through to A level. Project-by project details are on the Maths Hubs programme website and a taste of what’s on offer is available on separate flyers covering Early Years/Primary and Secondary/Post 16 phases.
