Shanghai Mastery Teaching Showcase Lessons for KS1 and KS2

The London South West Maths hub is once again delighted to offer the opportunity to experience and observe first-hand Shanghai maths teaching. This half-day of CPD hosted by Wimbledon Park Primary School, is available for a maximum of 2 professionals per institution and will involve a pre-briefing about the principles of Shanghai teaching for mastery, a lesson observation, reflection time and an insight into the future of Teaching for Mastery at Primary maths level.

Target Audience:

Headteachers, Senior Leaders and Subject Leaders.

The sessions commence at 8.30am with registration at 8am and include:

• Lessons from Shanghai led by Mastery Specialist Teachers

• Introduction from London SW Maths Hub Teaching for Mastery – pedagogy

• Lesson Showcase

• Panel review led by London SW Maths Hub including Q & A session
