How to support teaching assistants to deliver immediate support

This FREE training is available to all teaching assistants or maths coordinators who want to make a greater impact in the classroom when supporting mathematics.

With a renewed focus on problem solving and reasoning in the curriculum, mastery and depth of understanding has become ever more important for children to achieve.

This training will give practical support and ideas for teaching assistants to help them support all children in the classroom with confidence. It will be delivered by Maths Coordinators and SLE and will include a lesson observation. It will focus upon questioning, allowing class teachers and teaching assistants to quickly and easily assess depth of understanding and then offer immediate intervention.
