Supporting SEND pupils through Maths Mastery

Combining national guidance (DfE, EEF, NCETM) with local specialist knowledge, the programme will discuss and provide practical strategies for supporting:
 
  • General Maths Difficulties including Dyscalculia
  • Language difficulties in Maths
  • Memory and attention difficulties
  • Maths Anxiety and Confidence
 
The programme will follow a structure to implement a graduated response (Assess, Plan, Do, Review) for a case study pupil.

Who can apply?
This project is for SENCos, mathematics subject leads and other teaching staff in KS1 to KS3 who want to develop their knowledge, understanding and application of supporting pupils with Maths difficulties.

 

What is the cost?
The Supporting SEND pupils within the Mastery Classroom Work Group is fully funded by the Hubs Programme so is free to participating schools.
